Babcock Wilderness Adventure & Eden Vineyard Winery

Adults: $0.00 Children 12 & under: $0.00   Enjoy a beautiful guided 90 minute tour through a portion of the 91,000 acre Babcock Ranch aboard a buggy that takes you across woodland pastures watching for deer, turkey and other winged or furry critters. Then into bird rich boggs only to creep down into the mystical cypress head swamp in Telegraph Creek where the gators run wild. During the trip your guide will explain the past history to every day events that make up daily operations on the Babcock Ranch. The Wilderness Adventure is one of Florida's most enjoyed attractions.     The Eden Vineyard Winery offers a tasty taste of their luscious wines and a brief back ground of what it took to create a successful vineyard in the harsh tropical climate of Southwest Florida. After the tasting, those who are 21 and older will be able to select a bottle of wine of choice to take home for their personal pleasure. When developing this program, I first took this tour with my 11 year old son, we both had a really great time! The next day he came to me and said, "Dad, you know, that was really fun yesterday, I really liked the whole tour and I didn't even get bored. He added, if this is where you're going to be taking people on the tours you're making, I think they'll really like it too, Dad!"  (Words from my best critic: Clayton)

Edison-Ford Estates & The Shell Factory

Adults: $0.00 Children 12 & under: $0.00   The Thomas Edison Home and Laboratory, combined with Henry Ford's Estate, take you back in time when Edison was working on experiments in his lab to create rubber and the light bulb.   Ford was producing atuomobiles-the model A's, Firestone was developing the rubber market for tires, all of what today, we take for granted in our lives. The guided 2 hour tour compasses the day to day lives of two great men that made their winter residence in Florida and how and why they did.  Be one of the many visitors that visit this remarkable attraction each year.         Then on to The Shell Factory in N Ft Myers that will keep you busy for quite some time admiring all the different attractions. The exhibits on display will keep eveyone's attention no matter the age. From the always christmas display, to the rooms of shells from all over the world, to the game room for the children at heart, to the all new Nature Park and Botanical Garden exhibit, or even a few holes of miniature golf may hit the spot.

Experience hurricane force winds, dig for dinosaur bones, play with stingrays in the shallow pool, enjoy aquariums of fresh and saltwater fish, or just go out to the fish pond to feed the big fish and turtles. Two hours will go by before you know it and it's time to catch lunch.           Then on to The Shell Factory in N Ft Myers, this will keep you busy for quite some time admiring all the different attractions. The exhibits on display will keep eveyone's attention no matter the age. From the always christmas display, to the rooms of shells from all over the world, to the game room for the children at heart, to the all new Nature Park and petting zoo exhibit, or even a few holes of miniature golf and/or bumper boats may hit the spot.

ECO Kayaking- Sanibel, Shell Museum, Ding Darling Wildlife Refuge

Adults: $0.00 Children 12 & under: $0.00   Come experince guided back water Eco kayaking at Tarpon Bay Explores for 2 hours of bird watching. While paddling with dolphins and/or manatees through the mangrove islands that the early Calusa Indians paddled their dugout canoes when hunting and fishing.  Then take a drive through the Ding Darling Wild Life Refuge before heading off to lunch.   The Sanibel Shell Museum has the best display of shells from all over the world.  A guide of the museum will give an hour and a half guided tour of the incredible collection throughout the museum.
